An internet site is a great marketing strategy, especially if your services are available to the larger market and are not just offered in your area. Your internet site need not be complex and full of graphics, in fact, a site that people are able to access promptly without waiting for it to download because of pictures and graphics will make people want to visit your site. Your website need not be too detailed, the services your company offers, contact details and FAQ’s is more than enough information to stimulate curiosity and generate interest. Having potential customers or current clients subscribe to a monthly newsletter from your company is excellent for business all year round; this form of marketing lets your client know that you are interested in maintaining a business relationship with them and that they are valued.

Sometimes, distribution of flyers, internet sites and newsletters are just not enough, especially when trying to cut a deal or to become partners with a second business etc. Many people like to talk ‘shop’; this is done over lunchtime or during an after work gathering of friends. During the time when you meet potential clients, they may seem interested in what your business has to offer but without knowing where to find you the next day, potential business will be lost. In solving this problem, a business card with all your details will enable you to promote your company and at the same time have persons know who you are and know that they are able to get hold of you with no hassle.
